Across from the first Starbucks stop of the day, while Sandy got directions from Judy over the phone.

Edit to add - so I'm thinking this probably should have been my October Free Study entry, huh? Live and learn, I tell ya....

Post, cuz gradient's been mentioned - I checked and I did add a bit of gradient to the top of the sky. Otherwise this is a pretty hefty crop with levels, sharpening, and the aforementioned gradient. Probably a bit of a boost in sat, too.

Thanks for all the comments and the favs!

This is a great shot - it would have done well in a Free Study :)

The bird at the bottom makes the empty space work well and exist for a reason. I realise it may be hard with the power line(?) not being straight but could it be rotated slightly to give a level feel?

Great shot Deb. Phenomenal detail, amazing composition, the gradient in the sky couldnt be better. You could always hide the shot and enter it.

Love the simplicity of this, and the gradient in the sky adds a little something too
