Went downtown with the intention of getting some interesting light/texture type shots of the old buildings and architecture. As soon as I came over the hill, 6 blocks from the river, I see this golden glow rising high in the sky. It\\\'s steam rising from the river with the not yet crested sun coming up. Drive like crazy, park, run down to the bridge and hang out for an hour taking shots as this scene changed SO many times. This was the last shot I took that morning at this location. Most of the fog/mist had cleared - but for this challenge I liked the strong light difference between the left and right banks. In many others earlier I have some nice foggy type shots that I really enjoy also. One of the best \\\"being there at the right time\\\" scenarios I\\\'ve had yet! :D

Now to try and title this. Nearly always the hardest part of the challenge! So far I've tried 'warm right bank', 'Warming Rays Illuminate Distant Shore', 'Warming Rays : One Bank at a Time'.

The ONLY thing I don't like about this is the lost detail in the shadows on the left. OK, I take it back. I'd also like the sky color to more closely resemble the reflected sky. Otherwise, great composition.

a nice use of reflecting light. only thing i could say is the bridge doesn't look quite level, just a little distracting for me. beautiful capture tho and should do well.

it might be an illusion but the horizon seems to be higher on the left than the right. great lighting-8-
