Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM

One of about 40 shots I took that night, and wow was it tough to decide which one to submit as they wre all SO different.

I like this one because I shot it from far down a slope looking up at the spruce trees and the image almost makes you feel as if you are leaning backwards.

This is beautiful. It reminds me of a commercial that used to be on CBC, can't remember what they were advertising, perhaps CBC North. Love the greens and blues.

One of the greatest (if not THE greatest) aurora shots i have ever seen in my entire life, and I have seen countless. The gentle wisps of the aurora are beautifully captured, and the stars in the background is the icing on the cake. Excellent clarity.

Aurora shots are very difficult, and you pulled it off perfectly.

10/10

This is magnificent. I'm jealous of all you folks who live in a part of the world where this can be seen. I'm too far south :( I just find these scenes to be magical. This one has a particularly interesting foreground to anchor that magic into reality. Very nice work...
