 This is my good friend Whitney. She is an aspiring actress who hired me recently to do headshots for her for her theatre/acting auditions.

Post Processing:

Raw conversion, mainly some fill light and white balance conversion, done in adobe lightroom, which is amazing. i'm using the beta version, of course for windows, and it's fantastic. i suggest you check it out.

tried a new airbrush technique on the face w/ my wacom tablet. i liked the results, might stick w/ it. dodged and burned a little on the eyes. surprisingly the eyes didn't have to have much work done on them, due to the sharpness of my new Canon 85mm f1.8 USM lens. it's fantastic.

This is a really lovely image. I love the 'muted' colour, excellent exposure, wonderful processing...she has a great expression and lovely eyes which could be the focus of the shot, but my eyes keep drifting down to the other focus of the shot :-)
