Just found this - checking out the sigma zoom. Soft and sharp, dark and light - an exquisite containment.

What intricate finery! And the light, constrained in the highlights, yet still distinctively revealing a myriad of black, instant by instant!

O, can we have this the size of two or three heads hung at eye-level? :-D

-The title, too, encourages to take nothing for granted and this increases the overall range of this shot.

Fine eye and sense you show here with a craft so appropriate and dedicated, it's invisible.

Had to comment on this one.
It doesn't look anything too remarkable from the thumbnail but once it's full size it really jumps out and hits you.
Seriously one of the best images i've seen on DPC, period.

Nice and sharp, the softening effect around the subject is a little to over done for my taste but still a nice image. 7

Beautiful. The softness effect works great here. I'm very picky on which photos I think it works for and it works really well for this one.

Great focus and lighting, but it needs something more IMO. Perhaps one or two seeds dropping? 6
