You have a great image her. I would love to have the opportunity to shoot an owl like that.
I think what hurt your score might be the fact that this pic could do with some more sharpening. What programme do you use for post processing? If it is PSCS2, try smart sharpening or LAB sharpening. This pic is good enough to be given more attention. |

good shot, would have maybe cropped the left a little tighter so the owl was more to the left. |

Nice eyes! Too bad the entire head wasn't in focus. It's also a bit too centered for my tastes. |

An owl picture should have critical sharpness which this does not. |

Great clarity...would suggest a crop on the left to get rid of more of the dark area, and some more sharpening on the eyes/beak area. Lovely! :) |
