Yes it is the tricolor of India - orange, white and green. The sun is a bit off-center but doubles up quite nicely for the wheel (chakra) in the middle of the national flag.
The undulating effect of the melange of colors is a realistic capture of an Indian experience often taken for granted :)

| I just stumbled upon this image when following up on the photographer who made a comment in a thread. What a fortuitous find, this image is so incredibly beautiful! The variations in light and the resulting color on the foreground and sky from the rising sun are awesome... seeing the sun distorted in shape due to rising through the different densities in the atmosphere is fantastic... the fog just adds to the mood of an outstanding image, now added to my favorites :-) |

| I Love the foto just wish it was taken at a little higher shutter so the woman was a little sharper. |
