Perfect lighting, great expression and overall a stunning image. You were robbed, Magnús. You should have ribboned... again and again.

Beautiful bw processing on this shot. Great lighting, lovely tones. I normally find kid shots to be trite but this is really nice. Good expression on her face.

this is an awesome photo. her eyes light up and the difference in shades in the background really makes her pop off the photo. The only thing that throws this photo a little off is her hand placement on the side wall. Great shot though. 9

Very good, the finger on the door does so much for this image! Brilliant.

edit: However this does in the final results I don't care, but for me this is my favourite of the lot it is excellent work, wonderful composition, lighting and processing. This is one amazing image. I just have to favourite it. Beautiful! I am very much looking forward to seeing who took this! (10)

Easily one of my favorite portraits from the challenge. The tones here are excellent. The ballerina does look a little sad but charming. One nitpick is the dark square near the bottom right, could be easily cloned out but not certain if it would be removal of a major element, sorta doubt it but better safe I guess. I should know hehe. Another is this shot has a sephia tint, not purely b/w. I hope you dont get voted down because it looks great in b/w but if I had to choose I'd choose this slightly toned one.

That face is so fantastic and expressive, and I think you should have cropped accordingly to give it maximum show. The body and item under her left arm take my attention away to the detriment of the picture.7

What a lovely facial expression you have captured along with the softness and innocense of a child. Beautiful moment!

Superb expression capture. Well done. The shadow on the lower right is a distraction, especially since your model's arm directs attention to it..

i like the photo but it looks like a duotone instead of b&w
