 I've always wanted to replicate Vermeers painting :)

Window light...

This is a project for my Humanities class, it took almost 2 hours to get the "veil" right, luckly my model was patient and she sorta looks like the girl in the painting (I think).

Its under Digital Manipulation because I added textures to the "veil" and burnt in a couple shadows

GOOD LORD - that is just as stunning an homage to him as I've ever seen. It is absolutely perfect. She has the innocent expression of the original. Her face, the colors, the lighting and PP - WOW WOW WOW!!

Model is a good subject for this pose. Nicely done. How about some of Rembrandt's more dramatic scenes now?
