I had my brother wear my old fly fishing vest and hold my rod and one of my flys. I lit it with a shoot through umbrella from the upper left. The focal length was 25 mm.
Lets hope this does better than my last perspective entry in which i recieved a 4.9 on.

I think this is my overall favourite from the challenge. Much under appreciated. Keep up the good work.

hand should be held differently so the fingertips aren't blurred

Good picture, great perspective, I love how sharp the fly is, it just draws your eye into the image, very good job.

Very nice composition and focus point. 8.

the fly is nice and sharp, but partly obscuard by the fingars, my dad was a keen fly fisherman, and his fly collection was very colourfull, that element is lost in b&w, personaly I would have cropped the top of the frame level with the bottom of the top pockets, making it les distracting.

Great DOF. I love this image - it's interesting. Perfect in b&w. Beautifully done. 8 ***** Nevermind - back to bump you to 9.

6 - Like the concept. Wish the focal area was a little wider (or else more to the fore - reducing the focus on the forearm as well) to include the fingers a little more, even if they were still oof, but the fly was more in focus, and more visible. A slight variation in composition too, perhaps bringing a little more space into the left of frame, not sure. The b&w works well, as would likely any other toning. The character/'story' is good. A more refined crop as well, especially at bottom. Good use of perspective.
