Yikes, this totally rocks. It's an easy decision to add this to my favorites...

Oh, and your 5.5158 score is contemptible.

I hadn't seen this one before, it is HIGHLY underrated, I love how you have so many elements playing off one another. Rinac's comment is spot on. Well Done.

I'm stunned by the low votes. This is a wonderful "stop and ponder" piece. I'd expect to see this in a gallery somewhere rather than here getting treated like mediocrity. Thanks for it. I truly appreciate art that makes me think.

You were utterly robbed IMHO. This was my highest vote in the challenge. Wonderful, startling piece of work. I echo what Rinac commented, this was how I saw it also. Congrats on a stunner!

This was one of my 10's. Nice shot. I like the processing a lot. It's a very powerful photo.

Thanks for that Nick! Way to inflate a girl's ego! :) I honestly believe this image truly deserved a much higher placing though. It's not just a picture of something, shot solely as a passing thought, but like a carefully sculpted masterpiece. All the elements strategically placed by an artist to tell a story. Wish I was blessed with your vision and wish other people would try to look a bit harder too sometimes...

hello Melbourne...I like the graininess...not sure about the title and what's going on with the people, but I like the light and the brooding sky

Wonderful framing - I don't mean the white frame - can take or leave that, but I mean the circular sculpture framing the two people. I think the added noise adds to the mood,, as do the slightly shifted colors. Cool image!

Great idea. But it's a little dark and grainy. The composition perhaps includes too much skyline and not enough of the people who are the subject of the shot.

The circle of life, by the huge "O", one can find one self looking through the circle of life to a new life, or an old life. It just doesn't matter as the circle of life is where it begins, continues and ends.....

This is not an image I can easily cruise by on. As I slowly absorb, it finally hits me what you mean by "generations", or rather, what I'm seeing as generations. The ring sculpture symbolizing eternal and the poignant symbolism of the children framed within. All against a backdrop of old architecture and the formidable new. Much much more to see here... wonderful vision.

Very cool composition and the light is great. I like the use of grain in this, but it seems almost to heavy though. Sweet photo!

Interesting capture. On first go around and on the quick vote I didnt much care for this image. Coming back to comment and focusing on it a bit more I find it a bitmore pleasing. There is alot going on and I am not sur ethe added noise really enhances the pic, but you have an image that get sbetter upon longer viewing. Not quite sure how it fits in the challenge but I am gonna bump it up one anyways.

Nice! I'd love this if it weren't for the noise - was that a deliberate effect?

Good use of the ring as a framing device/ frame within the frame. Really helps focus the eye on the subjects. I'm not sure that the heavy grain/ texturing and colour treatment really add to a feeling of life, though it does feel old fashioned as a result.
