 I saw this big red ribbon in the grocery store a few days ago and knew what I was going to do for this challenge. To my suprise, puppy sat remarkably still. So still in fact that this shoot was possible with household lighting and shot at 1/8 sec. Good boy.

Just seeing this for the first time. (obviously I didn't pay much attention to the PP Challenge).

I really like it as already said. Congratulations on top 20 finish. I still belive it deserves more. May be tight cropping worked better. Voters giving votes in the range of 3 to 5 should give the proper reasons.

cute, but a tad cluttered. It seems as though you have too much going on in this photo. The props are fine, but perehaps a solid backround, so as to not seem so busy.

9 - Not much to suggest here, this is just about perfect. Very nice. Maybe just a little more 'pop', somehow, maybe via lighting, who knows, as well as a more refined crop at the bottom to eliminate the 'semi circles' on the back legs of the chair, but minor. Hmm, seems to be an issue here and there, but mainly to the left of the bow - possibly pp, not sure.

That is brilliant. A true portrait. Great use of props. The balance of it is excellent. Love his expression. WOW - tack sharp focus and artsy. ROFL This rocks. If I were to change anything, I might crop out the carved part of the chair above his head. Not a big deal though.

I love the way you set up this shot! color (the red draws you right in), dof and composition are excellent; the dog has a dignified appearance and expression..almost a still life image..good work.
