Looks like another big challenge, hope this stands out...in a good way of course.

A remake of an old photo that I did when I was bored one night experimenting with my camera. I don't know how well this photo will do here, but since the original got some nice feedback I think I should take my chances here.

Placed my hand over the flash in such a way as to not have it reflect off the water.

You've captured the interesting texture of the water stream very well. The knobs don't really add to the photo. They do provide context, but I'm not sure it is necesssary. Cropping them off to produce a vertical format photo would, I think, create a more striking image. (Though still not a "still life" except in the most literal sense that you've made one short instant in time "still".)

Very keen photography...just not up to par with some of the other stuff at this point. Develop this photograph more and more and you could get some serious recognition for this.

wow. I absolutely love this!! the cold blue makes me feel like I'm 6 inches tall stood under that tap (sorry, faucet!!). Definately one of my favourites! It's all down to statistics now !! 10

love the shot....just don't think running water qualifies as still life

Cool shot. I like the tones. You’ll probably get penalized for the “running” water, but it works for me.

This is kinda cool! I don't know if it qualifies as still life but can't be too far outside the genre! It needs some lighting help, but I am playing around with lighting techniques right now myself and don't have any good suggestions. I do like the shot and would love to see you play with it some more!!!

Nice capture. Excellent idea. But the straight on centered presentation is not very dramatic. And I am not sure it is technically a still life.

good idea, but I feel that the subject is a bit centralised

egad... great photo.. too bad its not a still life. if you are justifying the stopped time, then any action shot is a still life.. i cannot score you well on this one.
