taken on my girls dresser with light from the ceiling and window and a 60 watt from bottom left corner.I messed with the contrast and brightness. Added some grain. And change the color to sepia/brown.

Since this is a cliche'. I predict it will be in the upper 5's.

I love the lighting and will by a print to hang on my daugters bedroom wall. :-P

Thank you all for taking the time to comment.

I would like to say to those who didn't care for the grain, take a closer look at the picture next time. It's all about mood. The grain was to set the mood. I am glad that most got it.

cute shot...seems a bit grainy though, different lighting maybe could have helped that.

Oh! Let me gather him to me! This image successfully invokes the appropriate emotions - tugs at the heartstrings. Mood is established very well with use of light and shadow and the balance of each contributes to the very strong composition. Position of his head is just right. Can I have him?

The blending of color and texture in this photograph is breathtaking--it really is. The shadows you let onto your subject show that you're unafraid to let your textures speak for you. This picture inspires a feeling of insecurity, and the grainular surface only catalyzes that. You deserve the win, you really do.

nicely done..the graininess, lighting and color choice add to the feeling of desolation and abandonment...good job!

This has such a great mood! The tones are wonderful, the use of sepia ages it nicely. The play of light/shadow is dramatic, the softness adds to the image of the teddy. No negatives that I can see, just wonderful!

Nice!! IF it were up to me, this would be my choice for winner so far. I just love the colors and focus. The lighting is brilliant .. this one really makes you think. :) I do with the black on the left side was a tad bit lighter, but its not a big thing. Excellent job! 9

Poor Pooh Bear. Lovely light on his face.....stunning shot. It's sad and empy feeling. Really moving, and the tilt of his head is awesome. Great work. You'll do well!! Good luck.

The graniness adds to the feel of the shot, but is a bit distracting. Overall good! (7)
