My wife. We were out to lunch and i grabbed my camera and shot. Her expression is one that we have all seen before. Its the look that begs the question "what were you just thinking about?"

my first reaction was 'nice portrait'. the more i looked at it, though, something didn't seem right, as if there was an inconsistent softening in various parts of the image.

This is a sensitive and appealing portrait, but for me at least, the blowouts on the cheek and should on our left are extremely distracting.

Lighting is uneven, the glowing bar behnd her head really distracts from this portrait as well as the rest of the background.

very nice portrait but the background does not help, the left side with the bricks and wooden floors is okay but the bright white stripe is very distracting
