 Taken on vacation up in the Olympic National Park. Our family hikes approxamatly 50 miles in a week every year sometime during the summer. This was our second night out, up at Appleton Pass. I had set my watch alarm at 5:45am the night before because I knew sunrise was around that time. For some reason I woke up at 5:35am, looked out my tent and saw these clouds lit up above Mt. Appleton. This image was captured at 5:36am.

So, a lot of Jewish gentlemen were climbing the hill and they all said, "Oy!" when they got to the lake so they named it after those gentlemen, right? Oyster Lake. I like it.

Lovely pinks in the sky but for me the rest of the image is a little too dark

Beautiful lighting but I think framing more lake (and its accompanying reflections) would have worked better here.
