 The Great Salt Lake Marina during the winter. Here's one of those strange places where boats have snow and long for the warmth of spring. There's a startling stillness in the waiting, and a sense of peace.

HDR from 1 image, then Shadow/Highlight. That really brought out the orange sky. The usual Curves, Levels, H/S, B/C. Dodging and Burning, cloning out some small bubbles in the water, USM, Noise reduction (I think)and some smudge along the diagnol lines to reduce pixcelation from the size reduction.

I just took 1st place in the small photoclub with this shot. Let's see what it will do on an international level. I sure hope the calibration is right on most people's monitors. This quickly looks over saturated with bad calibration.

Very nice rhythm in this image, and the colours are wonderful. I've seen a few sunsets in this challenge, and my one common complaint is that they don't correct the whites for the orange colour cast of the setting sun, but your white boats look stunning against that fiery sky. Well done.

Nice use of the natural light. The sunset and little bit of snow in the bottom right really makes it feel like the end of the boating season. So many times I see these type of shots where the top of the mast is cut off either on the boat or in the reflection - I really like that you managed to keep it all there on both sides.

Beautiful reflections and the colours in the sky are nice.The only thing I am not too sure about is some of the colour in the boats, doesn't look quite right to me (just my humble opinion)

I really like the photo but for some reason I my eye keeps going to the bottom left. Are you keeping the shore edge in the photo for perspective.

Stunning reflection -- strong first impression for sure -- the whites are almost too pure & the golden stretch on the water in the center of the image is a bit distracting. Very impressive overall!
