There's not much to say about this one except how cute it is. It's absolutely one of my favorite portraits and I never get tired of looking at it. Hopefully, it will pull at your heart strings as much as it pulls on mine!

This is adorable do you get to live with her now or are you in iraq?

Oh Ali. . yes! This is an adorable portrait for sure. It's ageless. The kind of photo that will never quit touching all of you in your family -- even when the baby is all grown up! Probably especially then :)

Precious picture. You might get hammered in the challenge for a couple of reasons. But no worries. In the end, your family is what counts! 10 for some flag support. ;)

I like your choice of jacket (?)to wrap the baby in, only things I find distracting about this image are the top right and left corners. I may have been tempted to go a little closer in and have the jacket filling the frame (just my humble opinion) :o)

The lighting is harsh, a flash is too much for such a tiny baby. But who cares? This image is pure emotion, the tiny nose, the tiny fist, the giant jacket, the implied separation as Dad goes back to war. That's what makes this picture wonderful. My son is a Marine with (so far) two tours in Afghanistan at 21 years. No baby yet but yes, the difficulty of him being gone, the contradiction of feeling so proud of him and so distressed by this war. So ignore the comments about the light, you have a spectacular photo here.
