 Had an opportunity to grab a few shots of my youngest son, Aidan. Sat him down in front of our big picture window in the living room. It was a very cloudy day so I had a large diffused light source at my disposal. Unfortunately at this time of the year the sun isn't particularly strong so even at f/1.6 I was struggling for enough light. I would have grabbed my tripod but I was afraid I'd lose the moment. I seriously contemplated trying to reshoot in order to have him look right at the camera, but didn't - ultimately I expect that we will mean lower scores. Big deal - I like it & so does he.

I like this. Nice job of post-processing. Your focal point on his face is right on with a nice soft blurring elsewhere. Good luck in the challenge.

very cute, but I don't know if it's going to take number one. I like the look on his face and the crop. the black and white is nice and the catch lights in the right place. the ratio on his hair is a little hight though.
