the weed referred to is the more visible one on the middle left side...

meets challenge, good clarity, good title
you will probably get the suggestion that you pull the weed and just have the steps but this works for me 8

Nice showing of a seemingly infinite pattern. Good use of light.

The title isn't correct. There are lots of weeds on these steps. Other than that you did a nice job framing your subject. The upper right side adds some interest to what could have been a boring scene.

the curving of the steps really adds to the feeling of the steps stretching on and on. I like the composition of the steps going up (or down) corner to corner. Simple lines of light and shadow really with the deatail of the weeds - very nice.

I really like the way the light is caught on the face of each step and the way it converges out at the top right. A very nice looking and pleasing photograph that captures the challenge well. The only thing I don't like is the title since there are many weeds visible. But this is a photo challenge not a title challenge, so no harm done.

Looks like many weeds to me.... not just one tiny one.

This could be anywhere, but it reminds me of the step going down to the river behind the Lincoln Memorial. The gold light from the setting sun is coming from the right direction too! Nice shot, the curved repetitive lines are very interesting!

This makes an interesting abstract study in curves and near monochrome.
