OMG, what a great perspective for this chubby goose! The snow on his beak is a great added touch. Nice and sharp. I love it. Fave.

I feel like I'm having a face-to-face talk with this goose. To me that the goose pretty much dominates and fills the frame distracts me from noticing the snow so much. I don't think you screwed up.

You caught this goose at an unusual angle, and certainly did a good job of focusing on the goose's considerable heft - keeping in line with your title "Another Sucker to Feed Me." I'm glad you included the straw in the background, as it adds interest and depth. I'm a little confused about the relationship of the bright blue area in the snow. One trick I've done to finish a lot of wildlife shots is to dodge the area just around the eye to make it pop (not too much, or it looks fake) but enough to draw attention.

Wow what a concept. Great, new and interesting point of view, and a fluffily artistic background too.

i like this, rosemary. it's a real portrait of the goose. and the plumpness just comes right off the screen at you. i like the blue snow (as you might be able to tell from my entry) so i have no problem with it, or your colour saturation.

my only niggle is the blown snow in the top left corner. it does somewhat compete with the goose for attention.

nicely done!

A very interesting perspective of a goose! It definitely emphasizes their rotundness. Processing is pretty good but you do have a bit of a blue cast to the snow which can be toned down a bit using selective color and/or hue sat. I don't mind it, though - kinda fits the picture nicely.

I love this

That angle certainly shows a fat, greedy goose. The blue in the shadow is kind of intense and distracts me somewhat from the bird.

I love ducks so much! When they look you in the eye, they almost look like pets, don't they? You've done a great job of making that eye connection that makes a wildlife photo so good! Great job!

That is one fat goose! The shadow to her left has a strange blue hue to it. The straw is also exceptionally yellow. Perhaps a little oversaturated?

This is a great shot! The lighting gives it an optical illusion if being a tunnel. Wierd.

Nice capture. The lighting just seems off to me and perhaps a little over saturated in color. Too much blue and yellow.

The background snow is over-exposed in places and there seems to be a very distinct color cast also. There also seems to be an excessive noise issue. Other than the noise, there isnt any feather texture coming from the goose. I'm guessing the choice of crop was more about eliminating most of the background but it makes the image very static and the composition not so good.

I think this would be better if the blue was toned down a bit. The shadow in the lower left corner looks unnatural, and is distracting. The goose is wonderful though. I really like the texture of the breast.
