Crop, adjust hue & saturation, sharpen.

I know this was cropped close to her head but there is a sign right above that I felt was very distracting.

Excellent! Been there, done that, and it was a great education in human character. Two of us played music and lived in the Owasso/Chesaning area for about 6 months on the streets in a van. We left in a blizzard in Jan 74. It takes faith to be on the road like that with no security at all.

This is SO GREAT! Photojournalism at its finest. She is such a striking character. Very pretty -- almost flaunting the fact that she doesn't need fine dress or $100 hair cuts -- her flawless beauty is evident no matter what!

I love this photo!

Great shot Terry. The sepia tone really enhances this image. color would not have worked nearly as well. Nice to see somebody else from Mid-Michigan on DPC.

I really liked this shot. Congrats on the high finish. The tones, the blur, the model ... all good well done.

This is great, only thing that bugs me is the brand new guitar case :) seems that it should be beaten to heck out there on the street ..or at least have a few stickers on it ..but still a wonderful portrait

Crop is too tight, she looks boxed-in. I'd leave more space on top.

I like the blur of the car as it drives away. It adds motion to the shot, which makes it so much better.

It's good - dirty snow, anonymous traffic, dreadnaughts(?) and ragged jeans, and dirty snow-coloured sepia.

Very nice image and I think the sepia tones are perfect. Wonderful character and good motion blur. Nice candid feel. Back to bump you up to 8.

Excellent interpretation of the challenge, in my opinion. Very real. Hopefully you're not getting a whole bunch of "the background is too busy" comments, for without the background, it would lose it's feel.

Great take on the idea of "exiting"
one of my top picks. :o)

I am not a big fan of sepia hues but this is a good idea and good capture.

I like this so much. I love the fact that there is an untold story happening here (posed or not). Lovely sepia and use of movement blur. I would have just given a smidge more breathing space above her head.8
