Like you, I too feel that the great outdoors is the best place to find and get in touch with your spiritual side. The idea is well thought out but the picture leaves me wanting. FIrst the size seems a bit small overall and it's so crowded in the small area. I know the time of year leaves the trees bare in most areas but perhaps if you had come at a more straight angle instead of straight up? Captured a more natural landscape setting? A 4

The first thing that I (and probably 7 other people) am going to say is the image is very small...almost too small to give yourself a fighting chance here at DPC.

The second thing I'm going to say is that I like the composition of the image, but the lighting isn't very dramatic. In order to make a photo of trees interesting a person could try to shoot the trees in an interesting light or with an interesting sky.

I hope this helps,

Doesn't feel very relaxing. The one tree with leaves seems to be poking in to the side as an afterthought or accident

i like the idea, but it seems a little too busy to be relaxing to me ;). try this same shot on a tree by itself...I'd be interested to see how it comes out. -Pedro

NIce example of perspective, composition could be tidier, and colors a bit lacking.

I love looking up at trees too. These gray-barked ones are luminous reaching into the blue sky. Wish it were sharper.

Image is a little small. The subject(s) aren't that interesting, but the composition/point of view is interesting.

Oh, I love trees and you've captured this group just beautifully. I wish the photo was a little larger though. Nice photo!
