 Not really happy with this but entering it anyway, I will probably regret it.

Thanks everyone! I see this little face every time I fill the tub and I knew I wanted to shoot it for the challenge but with all the forum talk about a face not necessarily being personification, I was hesitant. I didn't even take the picture until a few hours before the deadline. Glad I did now!

excellent shot karen ... love the composition and the colouring ... and i see you used that fantastic lens ... i've decided to get the lens, and now i've just got to decide where ... owen's told me a fairly cheap place in australia i can get one .... i can hardly wait ..

So that was your shot? I like it a lot - it is so full of emotions. I love the light, color, and the texture of water is great. Did not get to vote on all entries, but that would've been one of my favorites. Congratulations on the high placement (but I still beat ya with my ET :P)

The movement of the water is a nice touch here, especially combined with the sharp splashes of water on the 'face'. Great tones of blue too. Very nice!

ah, of all the bathroom-fixture photos in this challenge, i think yours is most deserving. the blue tones are extremely complementary to the subject and tone of the photo. in fact, it is the tone of this photo that does so well. the title is a bit too-too, but who cares about titles?! i think you did an excellent job of capturing a fabricated emotion. the water's motion also adds a great touch. very impressive! good luck in the challenge, i hope you get due praise! 10
