The Bird wouldn't fly away so I may have bumped the pole...

This shot by xion is one of my favorites on this site and taught me to look up. Its not even in the same league as his, but a small tribute nonetheless.

Very ominous and forbidding.......it almost looks malevolent like it's going to attack the bird. I like this work you're doing with the B&W.

Well done, Joe! I like how you caught the bird midair.

This one grabbed my attention for some reason :)

Thank you.

It's really good and surely not in a lower league. I am really glad that my shot was of good use to you. It's a nice feeling. It's even strange looking at this one and seeing the thumbnail in the details. It's similar yet beautiful and exciting in a different way. Mine was shot like this and rotated 90° CW. I got lucky with that one.

Looking at the lights, I feel like they are turning like a propeller and the bird is trying to escape, or it might keep going round and round.

I like the bird better than the plane, then again they both server different purposes inside the frames.

Keep looking and keep shooting.

Cheers

A great shot, and I like it differently from Xion's; his is of the convergence of two pretty amazing things (the spire and a jet -- sorry, I still think flying is an amazing thing); yours is of the divergence of two ordinary things. Both are striking.
