Composition is a bit weak and the pea on the right is quite 'messy'. Lighting is flat too and could be improved be creating more definition by moving the light source to one side.

I'm not certain that you needed any other pods and peas in view - why? They offer no benefit to your concept and serve only to clutter it. You would have found it very easy to compose just the pod on its own, but as it stands I would have placed the focused one to the bottom, right corner.

Focus needs to be on the two peas only with nothing in bac. . . since that is the interpretation.

Good choice of literalism. Somehow the arrangement of pods here isn't as aesthetically striking as it might be. Maybe a black velvet background would have made these stand out. more as well

Nice DOF, the bacgkround color is nice and suits well, but its something about the texture thats throwing me off

Very well done! This photo fits the literalism and I like the idea. Carried out well. Good composition, good definition in the focal point and a great idea.
