Lovely shot, the lighthouse really stands out, guess it's the way it's lit and the sky in the background is just stunning. Really nice.

Beautiful night shot! You could almost crop it a bit on the left side, putting the lighthouse on a thirds line. Very much like the night sky you captured too.

Hey guys,

Thanks (as always) for the comments and support.

I must say I'm very surprised how that Beacon came out as lit as it did - and nope - no post processing on the beacon! In fact this shot is almost straight from the camera - a little sharpening and perhaps a smidge of curves.

It's not far from shore and off to the left is a restaurant complex built out over the water (probably show you that for Day 16) - I think a light source from behind there is responsible, but I never saw it and it didn't show up naturally until I took this long exposure.

Thanks again for your support and comments - REALLY enjoying the challenge!

I so want to come to your neck of the woods one day...

Guess I'm the second one that wants to know how on earth that lighthouse stands out that much.

And thank Karen for us too! This is stunning. There's perfect exposure on the lights and such detail in that dramatic sky! Wow!

This is great. From the reflection in the dark to the sky in the background.

I am impressed with the light level on the actual lighthouse. Is it lit from below, or did you do that with PP or a planet melting flash from shore? Cool pic you have here. I am glad that you are venturing out to get pics from other parts of where you live before the thread ends. Thank Karen for me.
