Street mural on Telegraph Avenue, one of the world's better-known streets. A photograph "of the moment" as I was in a momentarily-stopped bus across a wide sidewalk, shooting through the window, and got this composition -- no cropping involved.

Title ending inspired by the lines from ...

Revolution 1 (Lennon/McCartney)

You say you want a revolution
Well you know
we all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know you can count me out (in)*
Don't you know it's gonna be alright
Alright Alright ...

*In the reprise of Verse 1 John adds a low-key word "in" after the more normally-voiced word "out" as was sung the first time.

Greetings from the CC club.

I really like the vibrancy of this image. It is very reminiscent of that late 60's era.

Technically. Well, don't really feel qualified to comment much here as I'm no expert. To me the colours look great, though further playing round in the red/green/blue channels in curves does add a little extra depth/punch. I think I'd like you to have pulled back and included a little of the background surrounds as the fence going almost to the top gives me a claustrophobic feel (though that could well have been the effect you were trying for) I do agree with a couple of the commenters who mentioned that a human element in the shot would have made a difference......something like a blurred motion figure running through (though controlling the situation when you're sitting on a bus is not possible).

I think one of the things that continually delights me is the originality of your work. You are never afraid to try something new. You are an inspiration.

Great idea, great title. I hope your shot is not effected by the "adding other artwork" rule. Good luck.

one of my favorites so far due to color!

IMHO, this isn't really 'street photography' ...

I think this is missing the human element necessary to make street photography work. The colors are awesome but there needs to be somebody walking past, to illustrate the hustle and bustle of street life.

I like the idea and the colors are wonderful but part of me wants to see people in a street photograph. Just my feeling.
