Three calla lilies from Michael at Pure Design. Studio lighting.

Post: Convert from Raw in PSElements 3.0. Layer adjustements for levels and brightness contrast. Layer adjustment for hue/saturation converting to grayscale. Another layer of levels and brightness/contrast (both 75% opacity). Rotate. Sharpen. Resize. Sharpen.

Post: Yippeeee! Wow I didn't realize the finish was that close....0.0053 to Heida of all people.
Thank you all for the votes and comments. I am particulary happy about this one for a couple of reasons. It's the first ribbon with the Nikon....didn't think that was ever going to happen. And it was done during the WPL and helped the team. Love the WPL and I'm glad to hear that it will be sticking around. Cause after Low Key I and my absymal showing in that, I might not have bothered to shoot for Low Key II. Thanks to Michael at Pure Design for some great calla lilies. And Go FStoppers!

An awesome photo! This is my favourite! I tried to stand on my head to see what it would look like the other way up as the orientation looked a little odd at first, but this definately works! Well done!

Beautiful subject to use with low key lighting. I think the white tips lend itself perfectly for this set up.I like the crop & your choice of shooting them while falling over. 10
