 Thanks everyone who voted and for the great comments that were left throughout the week. I really liked this shot, but didn't expect it to do this well. Very, very happy with a finish in the top 30 given the number of quality submissions to this challenge. This one just shattered my old personal best. Hope it's not a fluke! ;)

Very appealing photo. Of course the landscape isn't flat and dry, but I'm reminded of Kansas in the early sepia scenes of Wizard of Oz!

the shadows intertwined with the real fence really are great. the choice of grain - especially in the sky - really works for the antique feel of this image
