| i honestly dont like the expression on the medel's face .. speficially within her mouth area .. looks odd ... and it looks like the focused part of the photo is capturing the wall more than the model .. see the top of the model's hair ... overall i like the concept .. i think it may have worked better in a less staged atmosphere |

| A good expression (key here over the others who chose not to show). I think the background is an issue here, and also, some light in the eyes would have helped. |

| Lovely Model:) great expression...does say suprise...I wish the background were different. Either one of more depth...like a resturant? or a park? or just droped out completely like the night or the sky. hope this helped. Good luck! |

| This is a wonderful idea for the challenge and the best kind of surprise. The lighting on this shot seems a bit harsh, a little toning down would really make this shot work. The wall paper is very distracting, a different setting possibly? A 6 |

Not so nice bits first : Looks a tad fake to me IMO. Would someone put their hands up like that when you ask them to marry you? Maybe they would??
The line of your wallpaper takes my eye away from the photo, maybe moving the subject so that there wasn't a line?
Now for the good bits! : The colours in this are nice, good tones all over, the colour of her hair, the skin colour and the purple on the ring box. I also like how you've only shown a little of the ring rather than the whole thing.
I thought to myself that I would have liked to see this a bit sharper to see more details in her face, but I had a wee play with it in PS and her top looks too vivid, so the sharpness is good.
In all a good Surprise picture. 8 |

| I like that we can see both the ring and the look on her face, and even the gesture of her hands. The focus could be better and the scene should be less flatly lit. |
