I've collected a number of these dead butterflies on the road in specific seasons and sell them mounted with 24x36 prints of my photograph "Delicate".

joey i have just studied this photo, trying to emulate the tones and editing, your skills blow me away totally, a lot of people resort to
trickery, especially me to get a good photo, this is just damn good
photography all round, i can't sing your praises enough.
now go make movies.

I'm seeing this for the first time and I can honestly say it's one of my favorites on the whole site. I'm loving the dirt thing too. It makes the butterfly look pure and clean. You've got some good stuff.

Amazing, you have been on the frontpage for about a week and I didn't even see you had won another ribbon. I guess my mind was more focused on Biteme as a fellow Dutchie. :)

Love the grunginess of this one. Composition is nice but a little less foreground, or at least less blur in the foreground would've made this even better IMHO. Still, an 8!

this is my top pick in the challenge, even when the fact is that this doesn't say "time" to me. but I guess that's just me ;)

beautiful rough editing, with the elegance of the butterfly.

I do hope these butterflies on the floor weren't killed for the shot. that would be BAD ;)
