 Backlighting with a splash of flash the compensation was -07
just a tad lower than theambient light I spot metered and all the eding was a adjust to levels rezize and usm.
The plastic Doll was chosen as this material is very reflective and any overflash or exposure can give a false look to it .

Well lit, but little impact. I think if Dolly was looking at the camera and the girl was smiling, the photo would be more appealing

I find the strong light on the back of the bench, and the top of the dolls head, are distracting, also the reflections in the dolls face, from the flash, I do like the shot otherwise, maybe a step to your left would take the back of the bench out of shot, and a reflector, instead of a flash, would reduce the reflection in the dolls face, a polerising filter may help with the reflections as well. good luck, I hope you find this helpfull.6
