Wow, was this way harder than I thought it would be. I figured I'd knock this out in a few shots then spend most of the time photoshopping, but it was way difficult lining the cans up, keeping them in line with the cans above and below and on the sides. Started out with 21 cans stacked in 3 rows of 7, then added the supports, then went to 12.

Did a bunch of different edits to different images, basically all the same. Selected each can, then adjusted the hue to change the colors. I had a hard time deciding which to enter, but polled my wife and kids, and they preferred the 12 cans over the 21.

It was a fun shoot, and fun -- but tiring -- photoshopping. Definitely the most photoshopping I've ever done with an image here. Interested to see how this one will do.

Used my telephoto to flatten the cans and make the image more graphic.

Levels, Brightness, Contrast, USM, Lots of hue adjustments, some more brightness and contrast on the supports, resize, border, save for web.

Certainly fits the challenge but I would have liked to see your own spin on it.

I can never understand why Warhol's cans of soup became so famous - but it did and has become a definitive point of Pop Culture. I do like your version. The colour range and exposure are spot on. 9

You did this very nicely for a single shot! That's a lot of work, or so I'm guessing. Nice job!
