Maybe "just" another pelican shot but the clarity is impressive! I like the heavy black areas too /nods

This takes my breath away. Wonderful capture in gorgeous light! And I'm incredibly envious that you did this with the 70-200 - I simply cannot hold that thing steady enough to get a shot this clean.

| I really like this. Nice tones, and the crop/close-up is a good choice - I think if the whole length of the bill was included, the eye would have been drawn away, down the bill to the edge of the image. Cropping out the bill keeps us focused on the subject. |

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two three four now and I'm running late, sorry.

| I love the gold color on his head and the intense eyes. The black background makes this pelican stand out. Nice crisp focus all over. What a beautiful bird. |
