yea that pretty much sums it up, incredible photo esp the way you managed to capture the fire where it almost looks alive :)

Jelena, wow! This is a really amazing shot. Congrats on the top 10 finish. Very warm feeling (by the oranges and yellows) funny juxtaposition being in a cemetary. |

This is a very interesting and exciting image to look at!
I love the setting--especially the glimpse of Edinburgh Castle in the upper right corner. Glad to see you're still working this subject! It's a great way to find what you want to say. |

Greetings from the Critique Club
Fit: This fits the challenge well. We have the flames clearly in a spinning pattern. No DNMC's for this one, and that shows in that you got not votes below a 4 and you are in the top 10.
Composition: The person waving the fire around is nicely positioned in the bottom right with that tree filling the middle to top right. This gives us some nice direction for our eye to travel form the fire, to the tree, and then settle back on the fire. Is the area with the castle needed? I think it is.
Technical: You have captured the flames nicely. There is a nice warm feel to the image.
Feel: I like this image but I feel that it's a bit too orange. The red/orange of the flames is just a little "hidden" by the orange fog. I gave it an 8 so clearly I liked it. Great work.
PM me if you have any questions |

From the background, it looks as if the dance got a little out of hand. Very well done. Excellent exposure. |

The spinning light has a grace and fluidity that draw the eye to the center but the person holding the light remains invisible adding to the mystery of this picture. Although it is dimly lit, the warmth and the contrast in the background add to the sense of suspense. |

Having tried to shoot fire arts before myself, you've done a very nice job here at producing an interesting background for the poi spinner. Great stuff. |
