Fine overall, but IMHO an edge of the skyscraper could have been
shown, even if just a hint of it. Because it may look like a nice
glass design cut and pasted above the older building.
Focus is a bit soft as well.
Still, I like the lines and shapes in this one. And it does fit
the challenge theme. |

At first, I didn't get this anachronism. Them I looked at it more and I now understand the contrast between the modern and old building. I hope others get this too.
Now that I look more at it, I really enjoy the contrary colors of blue and yellow. Oh wait! I thought the old yellow building was a reflection off the blue building, but it isn't. With all the lines, it looks like a refection.
The more I look at this picture the more I see. But I don't think others will get it. It's only a picture of a building. Nothing striking. I was going to give an average score, but on viewing it more, I'm giving you high marks.
(wow, I think that's the longest comment I've ever given.) |

I love the Symbological division and sharingness of both past and present in this picture. None is out of importance. Both equally necessary. |

This composition is really great. I love that the glass building fills the upper left of the shot and the old building fills it in the lower right...so great. |

Great shapes in this, and contrasting colours too. One of the top shots in the challenge. |

Good contrast in architectural styles...capturing nothing but the sky in the glass has added impact and given the image an "unreal" quality.
Very well spotted and executed. |
