Nice idea and shot, but I really like either really straight horizons or horizons that are completely off the horizontal, such as "Castles and Shells" entry.

This is a great angle on the car, but the beach needs to be tilted a slight bit to the left. I love the focus on the car, and the soft focus on everything happening in the background. The lighting is good for this photo. Good job and good luck in the challenge.

This is a great shot: but, without people in the background it would have been superb. I think the people in the background spoil the overall shot because they force the eye away from the central theme… Other than that, the composition is really well done. (7)

Ah yes, we used to set up whole cities and roadways and rush back out the next morning to see if they had survived. :-) 7

Sorry, there's a kid in the back on the left side and the challenge said "without showing a child" ... hehehe... Just kidding :) Nice shot, although the lighting seems a little harsh... Of course that's true of most trips to the beach...

great photo! This is one of those photos that makes me wish i was a kid again... this is a really cool toy and I can just see myself playing with it in the sand. This is not only a cool toy, its a very well composed photo... The people in the background add a great touch of 'life' and 'fun' to this image... great shot :) = 9 - jmsetzler
