 My first trip to the butterfly (and Chihuly glass) exhibit at the Franklin Conservatory. These sure are speedy little buggers. I couldn't get a clean shot to save my life!

Shot in RAW. RAW conversions. Elements - nothing that wouldn't fly in advanced editing (since I don't know how to do anything else!).

BRILLIANT!! This is very lovely! The colors are so vibrant and full of life. They are smooth and pretty... and the shallow DOF and composition are excelent, the details wonderful. The color harmony you have - with the way the butterfuly almost matches the background, and yet is half on the green leaf is perfect. A very sweet shot. Nice job!

Fabulous Bokeh here - and the background does have a Chihuly look, although I confess I associate his work with undersea fantastia (have you been to his gallery in Tacoma, WA?) Very well done.
