Taken near Nesjavellir in Iceland went there with Larus who some of you may know of. Anyway last minute lets see how this does.

Post challenge. Wow, did not ecpect this to do this well, mainly because we have seen a lot of aurora lately, but what was I gonna do leave it out. Anyways PB and a seven I have to say I am very pleased eith the result. Also this image achieves quite a few goals for this year.

Very spectacular indeed! I'd love to see auroras in the wild .... you Icelanders are lucky that way. ;-Þ

Wow! This is amazing. I really like how the purple is really faint in the sky. Great job and congrats on your top 5.

I'm surprised no one noticed the ghostly face on the left side of the sky! It's easier to see in the thumbnail.. but it definitely makes this image unique! It is like two eyes and a nose looking up and to the right, as though it were watching the rest of the aurora. I thought this image would have scored higher myself.

Very cool. A bit cliche on this site, but a possible ribbon winner for sure. Beautiful green hues. Nice detail in the sky and on the mountains.

Well, I'm afraid any superlative gushing about this photo would just sound like a bunch of cliche's. . .What can you say except it is photographic perfection! I wish I could give it a 20!! And I feel pretty sure that all that green will be complimented by blue at the end of the week! Congratulations!

Very Larus-ish... probably taken in Bláfjöll, Iceland.. :)

Wow. Pity we can't all live in iceland! :) It's a bit too, ah, what's the word, oh yeah, Green. :) If it wasn't basic editing, I'd like to see the mountains stark BW, with this awesome sky above.
