Under the Rainbow

The geographical distances between the 4 images to create these landscapes is about 50klm, but were all shot on the same day except for the bird. Had just headed out for a shoot when 5klm from home noticed a rainbow develop to my left on the road I was traveling, immediately started to look for a landscape to shoot under it, and came across a suitable position, IMG 5455 shot with the camera lowered to get in the foreground, raised the camera to capture the rainbow IMG 5460, pleased with what looked good in the viewfinder. Returned home with what I had.
Rang a friend of ours who has a horse stud and asked if we could drive out and fill the trailer with rocks for a rockery we are building, and all was ok. This is in the opposite direction to which I had gone earlier in the day being about 40klm from home. On our way back noticed a lonely country cottage on a large cleared area and thought this would look good under the rainbow. IMG 5452. I now saw in my mind the landscape image that I believed would look good with the images I hoped were captured right to blend together.
The bird was captured 3 days earlier IMG 5345 in a completely different scene.

After processing liked what had been achieved, hope you do too.

Thank you to all for the comments and votes.

Sorry but i think this could not be called photo. You created an unreal landscape, something that doesn't exist. Though the result is stunning, the landscape is a false. Only in my opinion obviously. Ciao ;)

Very good My only thought is that the definition of the two blues are a bit too severe

I feel that a good number of the voters are taken by the first impact of a photo when they cast their judgment. I do not see anything wrong with that if it was basic or even advanced editing.
However in expert editing the tools allow changes that can produces a very unreal picture, this photo is an example of such processing; and its initial impact may in fact grade it high, so I am admitting to record what I think of the photo here.

While the two rainbows have the same arch (curvature) which is strange, because this means they are on one 2-D plane; they have reversed gradation of rainbow colors.
The sky under the inner rainbow is darker and with more thin clouds than the sky area contained between the two rainbows as if the two areas are slices of two different things. The clouds often break (end) and the edge of some parts of the rainbows as if they were dividing lines not a natural mix of the nature.
But one of the most annoying things in the photo is the bright (very bright) house roof; a big quantity of light illuminating only the roof with no clear source for it; or how it is lighting only the roof; If it was the sun, which should be there to create a rainbow(s) then where is the tree's shadow; also how could there be a rainbow with so little of thin clouds.

I love expert editing but not to the extend of making nature look unreal because we have editing tools.

Very nice shot :) If you did add that bird in expert editing I think you went over the top and I think you did, the size/scale of it looks wrong somehow but I´ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it was there all along. 7 from me.

Interesting compositon and nice colors. It seems that the sky,the land and the bird are taken from different pictures.Especially horizon line is suspicious.

Very nice composition. Its hard to tell whether the scene was real or manipulated, but seeing how the category is "expert editing" I would guess there was a little manipulation in this photograph. Nicely done either way.

Nice frame and balance of elements. The bottom rainbow looks a bit un-natural though... and the sky almost looks too dark for the ground to be so lit, but overall very nice image.
