Looks very mystical with your processing. Like she's headed back into the enchanted forest.

What a beautiful shot! The toning gives it a mystical feel. Excellent demonstration of the Rule of Thirds. I love it :)

I find this quite an exceptional shot composition, lighting and processing wise. Should have placed in the top 3 imo. It has something of an old masters etching to it. I really love it.
Browsed your portfolio whilst i was here and i must add that i am impressed by much of the quality work you have in here. Many different styles and techniques.

Toning into black and white was a good choice on a lot of levels: the mystery, and of course the grey that is yellow-toned in the tail and maybe elsewhere. The toning keeps our eyes away from the typical pasture unkemptness of the horse, and turns ordinary things like a woodpile and clouds into magical bits. Congrats on your score!

hey timothy .. BRILLIANT photograph and process .. love the highlighted horse and the darkness beyond ....
it looks almost like a fairy tale and i'm expecting the horse to sprout wings and possibly a unicorn's horn .. an excellent image that transports me .. :)

The arch in the BG over the horse, and the horse moving toward it away from the viewer makes this image come across like a 1950's movie ending. It seems as if the story is over, and the horse is leaving now. Roll the credits.
It's a fascinating image in composition and in execution overall. It looks almost 3d too because of the lighter subject, and the tonal range in the BG.

It has such a classic feeling. I love how I can see all the details thru the darkness. This is one you can be very proud of creating.

Gorgous mood and textures. To score this well with the horse's heiny carefully placed on a thirds intersection, you must have some real magic going on ;-)

Looks like something out of a fantastic dream. The setting, the black and white treatment, it all comes together. What a wonderful photo.

For a "Lady" i think it is very rude for her to be showing her rear, i'm sure she has a prettier face ;-)
