Terrific DOF. Love the bokeh. His expression and flipped up ear - wow. Great stuff.

Great sharp subject and lovely bokeh. Composition is very nice too. Every time I look at this I like it more and more - I gave this a 9, but bumping to a 10 - one of my favorites in the challenge.

The handlers head behind the owl is a little distracting, but necessary. Otherwise, the owl shot is fantastic. 10

the owl is spectacular, the only complaint is the the eyes look almost unnaturally saturated.. the presenter/handler in the background is a distraction, the rest of the background has great bokeh and if that alone were the whole background it would be a much better image, imo.

Love, love, love the look of the owl, not so fond of the person in the background.

I worked at a wildlife refuge a few years back. Reminds me of when I handled the owls & hawks.

Great photo, nice DOF. Extremely clear. Too bad the owl wasn't sitting in a tree though.

Great shot but with expert you may have edited out the handler.

Nice clear and crisp image of the owl, but the obscured, fuzzy head in the background is a little distracting.

Well processed and captured. Very sharp. The person behind the owl is distracting and without her this picture would do alot better.
