Great in-car image. It's a one-frame (or two, really) version of the R.E.M. 'Everybody Hurts' video.

this is like an artsy billboard. like you can tell that the picture outside the window is overemphasized - and what that does is add drama to the pic. her profile view adds the extra wow to the pic.

Actually this is pretty cool. A gritty city shot, the composition shows a good contrast between the person in the safety and quietness of the car away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I think that is extremely cool and very artsy. It has an avant garde sensability to it. NEVER apologize. I am not a great photog, but when given the chance to edit, I go wild. I REALLY like this and I'm not being patronizing.

This is a great image, really has a lot to say and the sign is perfect - overall it says "there is a crazy world all around you keep going, do not stop". I do think it would be better if there was more of her face, a bit more light, etc becasue the rest of teh picture is so busy both from subject and areas of brightness and high contrast it is tough for her to compete. Overall I think we are mostly interested in the person and the "crazy world" part of the image gets the point over well and could probably do so effectively while giving up a bit of space to her. Regardless, I agree with everyone - really very creative vision.

Wow, you worked hard on this one. Has wonderful contrasts, and I like the minimal light on the face.

Roz - OMG - I love this. It has a totally urban sci-fi feel to it. The signs make it even more interesting - the whole photo is riveting. Ali's face is indeed the anchor for all the other activities - and as a whole the image doesn't seem busy at all. Love it!

i love the processing in this one, roz. the composition is awesome and the high contrast, grainy look is adding a fantastic mood to this shot. really well-done.

This is great - at first you think you know what you're looking at, and then you do a double take and look again. Very nice range of tones and the composition is great, with the girl's face off to the side looking inward on the rest of the image. A busy composition, but it suits the subject matter, and the face on the side anchors it all despite the busyness. This is just a wonderfully imaginative composite and done very well IMO.
