This is by far my favorite photo on DPC. I've always loved this book and my family gave it to me as a high school graduation present. All through college I've had it on my bookshelf, still brings some inspiration. I think this photo captures the essence of the book perfectly!

This was my favorite book to read to my kids.

We had a practice of reading every night to our kids from the collection of books we had. A lot of them were Dr. Seuss and this one was a favorite because of the hope it would give them... basically the world was theirs and even though there was a lot of different paths they could take that we knew they would take the right path.

(Fox in Socks was my other favorite to read but mainly to try to get through it without messing up)

I do like the image (especially the colors), but a straight horizon would be nice and perhaps some more cropping would give a better composition.

Nice image. Perhaps coloured it a bit too red - might have preferred slightly more natural colours.

I like this shot a lot. The idea the crop the comopsition but I am not sure about the intensity on the colour It is the right colour for sure but maybe a tad too strong.

1. Awesome beautiful photo!
2. Looks like it's been over colorized. Maybe that is the way you captured it though.
3. The silhouette is simply gorgeous, I live this type of photo.
4. Way to utilize the wet sand for reflections.
