 an old tomatillo husk over the flower of a bolting collard green plant. b/w via calculations, mask to bring back color, and an additional layer blended with color burn brought the red.

I just love your work. This is a gorgeous find and the selective desat enhances the beauty and mystery of the setting. Very pretty!

I like how you restricted the saturation of the husk to only over the flower - very arresting composition. Great title. :)

Probably a bad choice of subject if you were going to give up on fully coloring the net-like flower. Unfortunately, just coloring the parts that are over the petals makes this seem incomplete.
