Have tried getting this guy about five times; sixth time's the charm, I guess (though I'm still not totally sure I've "gotten" him yet; I'll probably try again).

Processed in lightroom, including split toning, then into PS for sharpening, levels and resize/border/save for web.

I can't help myself; gotto comment on this one ;)

this is a beautiful portrait of this man. You composed this photo in a very good way. The toning is also very nice, but might need a little levels to get a little bit of a fresh look (you know what I mean?)

maybe if you're gonna try again, use a bigger aperture so the background fades a little bit more. the people standing behind him catch a lot of attention and I think it's better that this man gets all the attention he deserves in this photo.

Love the expression you've caught here - makes me want to turn around to see what he's peering at!

An interesting character! The sepia toning lends a warmth to the shot, especially how it colors his coat. He's a well-dressed gent, too!

Love the way he's leaning forward ... I think you got him perfectly. And the other thing that is amazing is that beautiful wild full head of hair. My husband would be jealous, LOL

i like this portrait, the couple in the background add a nice interest to this picture. and i also like that the guy in the background is bending towards the opposite direction of the guy in the foreground.
