One of my son's toys - a current flows between the sphere and the central rod. If you put your hand on it, the field is changed and the current flow is altered.

This photo is turned 90 to the right to give the appearance of it being on a wall. It actually is a table-top object.

Composition and lighting are good. I like the way the fingertips create that red glow. Maybe clone out the hairs on the arm which are visible on the black bg so as not to distract from the subject.

LOVELY lighting. The backlight works extremely well here. Very nicely done.

I can make out a child in a dark shirt, the photographer, a window or other light source, and an unused lamp in the reflection of stuff behind the lens. Shooting through a dark drape of some sort might have improved the image.
