It's all about a relationship, not a religion for me. When we get wrapped in "religion" (the how to do something), rather than the "relationship" (the why we do something), it is like wrapping yourself up in a chain. It is binding and limiting. Personally, I believe this is where an abundance of problems with "religion" get started.

OTOH, in my experience, forming a relationship with Jesus Christ has been liberating and freeing -- two things I never found when I was "religious."

Adjusted levels, contrast, brightness, back and forth between elements and paintshop, converted to bw using a channel mixer, resized, cloned out a couple of freckles on my arms and a white spot where my background didn't cover in the lower right. Dodged and burned my arms and the chain a bit.

The chain was HEAVY. Plus, I was having to focus the shot, then "pose" within the time the timer went off. I guess I could've asked for some help from someone. :)

Very nice job with conveying a difficult, abstract concept.

It certainly doesnt look like this was very easy to do at all!! A great expression of an aspect of religion and interesting to read your words underneath! :o)

So true!! It isn't a religion, but a relationship!

sorry, but as a photographer your job is to convince me.

photographically, this is a nice picture. However, I am not convinced that this is religious.

Requires the title to meet the challenge... But I see where you're coming from with it... The forearms and upper thumb are a bit burned out
