 It was a good week for lightning. This actually one strike, not two separate ones, which makes it cooler to me. Not much on PP.
Converted from raw making some exposure and contrast/brightness adjustments. Cropped. Sharpened. Neat image. Save for web.

WOW! My first top ten(or top 50 for that matter)! Thank you all for your very nice comments. I have always wanted to get some lightning shots, and this capture was from among the first few attempts I made.

nice lightning shot, but its in need of a foreground or buildings that are in view and lit up. the bottom section of the image ruins a magnificant shot

I think might have been improved if the bottom had been cropped - the random details on the horizon bring the shot down imo.
